I want to thank Gary for all the help he has given my wife and I in finding the right home for our family. He was always available, prompt, and full of great knowledge that helped in our search. He is easy going and has a sunny disposition. He was completely honest, always took our calls or responded quickly to our text messages. Gary is kind, fun to be around and cares about the people he represents. He went out of his way for us several times after the buying process too, what a guy! He helped us make an informed decision and is highly ethical. If your looking for someone whom you can trust, goes above and beyond and will represent you well, Gary is your guy.
We listed our outlying property with Gary Raze in November of 2021, and within 3 weeks we had a buyer. Gary kept in touch with us every few days and took care of everything after the offer was accepted. We felt exceptionally comfortable with how he handled the sale and knew he was working for our good. He was fair, honest, and timely. We will recommend him to any of our friends who have need of a reliable realtor.
Gary represented me as the buyer of my home in Eugene in 2018. He helped me buy the house while I was still in California. He is an excellent buyer's agent- really listens to his clients, and doesn't waste their time showing them houses that won't be to their liking. His extensive knowledge of real estate purchase and sale is very impressive and helpful, and his experience as a teacher makes him particularly adept at explaining the convoluted details in buying a house very clearly. My daughter was studying at the U of O at the time, and he kindly brought her to the Open House so she could show me the house as I was teaching at the time, and was unable to attend. She walked through the house with the camera open on her cell phone, while we had a video call. Based on his attention and thoughtful customer service, I purchased my home without having seen it in person. And I am more than happy in it, 5 years later. I highly recommend Gary Raze for all of the above reasons, plus his kindness and the fact that he an all around good guy. He is very active in the community and is known to and beloved by many many Eugenians.
As a septuagenarian who is no stranger to buying a home, I have worked with many excellent real estate agents over the past half century. But none topped Gary Raze when it comes to professionalism, decency and positive energy. When my wife and I decided we wanted to live closer to our grandchildren and began looking for a house in the Eugene area earlier this year, a friend recommended Gary. A truly amazing individual with a keen sense of humor and a hearty laugh, Gary skillfully led us through the challenges in today's real estate. Thanks to his efforts, we quickly found the place we wanted. What's more, after the sale closed, Gary voluntarily hauled off a large pile of trash the previous owners had left behind at our newly acquired property. This world sorely needs more folks like Gary Raze.
Gary Raze was recommended to us in 2008 by some friends who had used him as their realtor for many rental purchases. We were very pleased with him as our realtor. He listened to what we wanted and worked hard to find just the right house for us to make our home. We were successful! Not only is he a great realtor, he's a friend. We recommend him to anyone we know that is looking for a home.
I have been involved in real estate since 1970 and purchased my first rental in 1972. I am married (51 years) and have two children and three grandchildren. I currently sing in two barbershop choruses and two quartets that perform all over the United States and Canada.
My hobby besides my singing is running. Although I don’t run as fast as I used to, I still enjoy the exercise. In the past, I have had the pleasure of being in many humorous Northwest commercials (Les Schwab) over a ten-year period.
In the real estate world, I have served as president of the Million Dollar Club of Lane.
County, which has 120 members out of 1400 agents in Lane County. Also, I have served as president of the Willamette Business Association.
For the past 13 straight years, I have been in the top 3% of all realtors throughout the United States and Canada.
