After working at Gateway Gardens for 16 months now, I have to say how impressed I am. I have worked as nurse now for 10 years and I have never felt as appreciated by management, by the residents, and by the amazing caregivers, as I do working here. Upper management is very involved and are physically come down to provide hands-on care to help the floor staff whenever they need. The care staff work very hard and do an outstanding job taking care of our residents. The activities department is also incredible! They are always willing to help out, especially when residents need to be taken to appointments, or for shopping needs, and of course they do a phenomenal job with all the games and activities. Many of the residents have also reported that the food here is excellent! The care managers and nurses work hard and work together, and are also an important role in the wonderful care that is provided to the residents at Gateway Gardens. I am proud to say I am a nurse at Gateway Gardens and I highly recommend caregivers to come apply! I also highly recommend Gateway Gardens as a great place to live for those with dementia as they would be getting great care by great people who truly have compassion and love for what they do!

My father was taken here on 4/19/19. He passed here on 4/20/19. He was transferred here straight from the hospital. Between the hospital and gateway gardens the entire process was horrible and everything was confusing and messy. He was fed no solid foods and DID NOT have food restrictions. He was given no pain medicine and was in pain. He fell from his bed twice the first night there. Out of town family could not reach him because the staff had given us the wrong building and room number. He died within 24 hours of being at gateway gardens. They sent my aunt (a contact on file) flowers.. no follow up calls, nothing else.. no explanations from either the hospital or gateway gardens.

This place has been great at taking care of a family member. He never complains about wanting to live elsewhere and that has been an issue we dealt with 3 times before finally moving him into here.
The staff are friendly and always there to answer questions. I wish there'd be more communication between the families and the representatives here, but its easy to initiate it if you need to.
It's a bit expensive compared to other assisted living homes, but you do tend to get what you pay for at places like this.
The property is nice and they do a great job at keeping it clean. It's always open (even though if its too late, they just need a heads up), so you can visit at anytime.
All in all, its a great place. Have a tour if you're curious.

Very nice place. Took care of a family member here and I am very happy we picked this place. They took care of him as long as they could have. I would recommend this place to anyone. Very nice staff. Kim has always been there for any questions or anything from the 3 years my family member has been there. Thank you again staff at Gateway Gardens.
