I work for this company and I am very grateful for it. This facility has such a beautiful team of people and we all work together to care for our residents! I’m very grateful to be apart of this team and family and am very excited for what’s to come! Go team, you guys are awesome! Best company and facility I truly have ever worked for! Thank you Chateau Gardens for everything you do for us and our residents!

They are a horrible company to work for and do not care about their employees at all. Only work there if you want to be miserable the entire shift and go home wanting to quit. And don’t ever have a medical issue the don’t care. The residents haven’t had their toenails clipped in months as we are not allowed to do it but they won’t bring in people to do it. I wouldn’t allow my worst enemy to work here.

No one wishes that their parent or loved one needs long-term care, and the choices for loving care under compassionate leadership are few. My mom and her partner lived in two other care centers before coming to Chateau Gardens. Here, I found Kim Fredricks, the director, to have an open-door policy. She led her staff, including kitchen staff, as equals, and they felt it. Director, Activity Director, Caregivers and Kitchen staff all pitched in as needed. Rachel Langford, the activities director, took personal care of the residents and treated each one as family. Both Rachel and Kim were tireless in their care of others. When I was away in Portland, and my mom needed transport to hospital, Rachel stayed with my mom, hours after her shift, holding her hand, until I arrived.
When I had complaints, I was listened to, and I knew they were doing the best they could with the resources they had. Yes, there needs to be legislation to better the ratio of staff to residents in the State of Oregon. In the meantime, Chateau Gardens was my mom's home away from home. A blessing at the end of life.

My father has been at Chateau Gardens for 6 months, after stays in 4 other care facilities, and the care at CG has been superb. The CG philosophy is that the staff is visiting in the home of the residents, and that attitude shows in the excellent care and attention they give everyone. The residence is kept clean, simple and pleasant. The staff is fantastic, caring and focused, and well-trained in dementia and Alzheimer's. A wonderful place for anyone with memory problems or requiring complete care.

My mother felt loved and cared for while there. The staff knew her well, and towards the end of her life, they made sure that we were able to spend as much time with her as we could. I have so much respect and gratitude for the caregivers, esp. Lori (don’t know if she’s still there).
